Since founding the company in 1993, Hilmann Home Building has built homes ranging from the low $200,000 to over $3MM. We provide direct personal attention to each home we build and take pride in the close supervision we implement which insures a superior product for each and every build.

Owner Chris Pauli personally supervises the construction of the home, making multiple, daily visits to the job site and maintaining steady communication with his tradesmen. Personal attention is the hallmark of Crown Builders. Starting as a commercial builder in 2002, the owner, Ron Ratkey, then shifted his attention to residential home building in 2007. Since that time his homeowners would say his attention to detail, personal responsiveness and quality mindedness are what sets him apart. Prior to being a builder; Ron was a corporate executive that moved 6 different times over a 20 year career. He and his wife purchased a new home on every move. It is through his personal experience that he has an appreciation from a BUYER’S viewpoint on what is important in their new home.
Crown Builders is not a large builder and purposely caps the number of homes being built at any given time and the number of subdivisions he wants to be involved in. This allows the owner to visit each site personally and review all the aspects of the building process, and in turn communicate with you, the homeowners. You will talk directly with the builder, not a middleman or superintendent. Ron is available to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have.
Another benefit to working with Crown Builders is the transparency of the building process. Treatment of change orders is done fairly and communicated in a timely manner. Lastly, a prospective buyer will see that his spec homes contain many features that other builders consider upgrades.
